Am I the only one who was like “And Carl Sagan apparently had NOTHING ELSE on his schedule for that week!? NOT POSSIBLE!” I’m not doubting the story, but I think maybe they doctored his schedule so we didn’t see all of the occult, eyes-wide-shut-style parties he had scheduled on Thursday.
goodbye my love
Aaaactually, that little boy actually just marked him for death. This guy, Ray McKinley was found dead in his hotel room like 12 hours after this was shot.
AAAAAAAACTUALLY, the boy is really Ray McKinley from the past—the older Ray McKinley is a time traveling documentarian, who went back 20 years to research his home town.
What’s not shown is the moment when the entropic cascade event kicks in from the interaction of the two identical bio-electric Casimir fields after he touches his future self, the result of which wipes Ray McKinley’s entire existence from all of history.
That we have this footage is merely due a temporal paradox of unknown origins.
Inspired by the Marauder’s Map, this tea cup reads on the outside “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good,” and on the inside “Mischief managed.” A great addition to any tea or coffee-drinking witch or wizard’s cupboard. Sold on Etsy.
you know what the stupidest award is
why should you be rewarded for having a superior immune system and never catching a virus okay it’s not exactly my fault that I’m not perfect and I gotta work it
where is my award for not murdering anyone all four years of high school since we’re giving out pointless awards here
I will never get over this scene. I just love the fact that Disney acknowledges and makes fun of the fact that “It’s A Small World” can be the most annoying song in the world. Not to mention the fact that some of the adults watching this movie would understand this reference and relate to it.
Story time! Gather round children~
A few summers ago I got a summer job at WDW and one day while I was working I started to sing It’s A Small World to myself, and I was walking around and all of a sudden I hear this guy howl the word “no” in a really Scar-like voice and one of my fellow cast members pops out of a storage closet and says “ANYTHING BUT THAT” so we did a duet of “I’ve Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts” and then went our separate ways
one of the most amazing stories I heard..
dont forget the part where you pretend you’re having a really sad moment in the rain
And the period shower where you stand and watch the blood flowing down the drain as if you just got back from a war or brawl.
As a girl I can confirm that all of this happens.
Yes it does.
It really does
the penis people’s showers are so boring compared to this
The moment you look at him and he feels right.
that’s peter capaldi enjoying his dream role
We literally have proof that we are watching a mans dreams come true. We are watching him do the role he has wanted to do since he was a child. This role is what made him become an actor and he has literally waited his whole life to be the doctor and not a side bit but the doctor.
We are watching one mans miracle. And I don’t care who the writer is and the plot lines etc because this doctor has been waiting longer than most of us have been alive to do this. And that my dear tumblrers is the most amazing thing in the world. He is an inspiration to EVERYONE that if you are patient and just keep working at it that your dreams from when you were a child do come true and there is ALWAYS room and reason to hope and to continue on no matter what.

never going to get over that pharrell basically managed to make “if you’re happy and you know it clap your hands” into a cool song
i think my heart is made of grass
it grows in sun but breaks like glass
it’s green and sweet and everywhere
from whitman’s grave like uncut hair
it can be cut
plucked loose from earth
with fingers keen
i cannot stop from bending more
i cannot lock and bar this door
i cannot rhyme
i cannot speak
(today i saw a robin’s beak
it worried an apple upon the stone
the first of spring
i took for granted this robin thing
until i heard him, dirtied, sing.)
